In a collaborative effort to address environmental challenges and foster sustainable solutions, the Klaipeda Regional Waste Management Center (KRWMC) recently convened a meeting with its social partners as part of the MINEV project.

The current roster of social partners comprises experts from various domains, including the Klaipėda City Municipality Administration Environmental Protection Bureau, Dr. Ramūnas Povilanskas from Klaipėda University, Artūras Pužas representing the Environmental Projects Management Agency under the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Lithuania, and Robertas Petraitis from the management team of the renowned Klaipėda Sea Festival. Each partner has enthusiastically joined the MINEV project to contribute their expertise, foster idea development, and exchange valuable insights.

Roma Budrienė, the director of KRWMC, emphasised that the project remains open to welcoming new social partners who express interest in contributing to its objectives. During this first meeting, the KRWMC provided an overview of past projects undertaken by the center, shedding light on their environmental initiatives and achievements. The partners were also introduced to the core goals of the MINEV project and received insights into the upcoming events and activities planned for its successful execution. Furthermore, participants at the meeting had the opportunity to share their impressions from the inaugural MINEV participant meeting held in Malaga, Spain.
