MINEV Stakeholders meeting in Krakow

The first Krakow stakeholders meeting of the MINEV project took place on 26 June 2023 in the Environmental Education Center of the Municipality of Krakow. 9 of 10 MINEV stakeholders from Krakow participated in the meeting (15 people including the project team):

1) Krakow Arena (PLC)

2) Trade Fairs in Krakow Ltd

3) Krakow Convention Bureau

4) Krakow Festival Office

5) Department of Social Communication of the Municipality of Krakow

6) Sport Infrastructure Management Board of Krakow

7) Marshal Office of Małopolska Region

8) Municipal Cleaning Company Ltd

9) RB Group Ltd.

The main objective of the meeting was to inform the stakeholders about the project and get to know each other. Michal Gelata, project manager, presented the general information about the MINEV project, including e.g. project partners, goal of the project, policy instrument, budgeting and the schedule with upcoming events, the communication rules. The role of the stakeholders was pointed out also: providing good and failed practices, informing about events organised, promotion of the project in social media.

The second meeting point was a presentation of experience gained during the kick-off meeting and the first project seminar in Malaga on Regulatory Frameworks and GPPs for sustainable big events, carried out by Edyta Kisiała – the stakeholder from Krakow Arena (PLC). The meeting was ended by the short discussion. Each stakeholder provided information about events’ organisation in the ecologically point of view.

The next stakeholders’ meeting is planned after the second project seminar, which takes place in Bologna in the 2nd semester.
