The MINEV Project partners convened from July 25 to 27 in Klaipeda for a meeting that coincided with the Sea Festival, offering a unique opportunity for partners to conduct a case study on the event, with all members acting as "consultants". Additionally, the partners participated in the Sea Festival procession.

The event kicked off with an open day, welcoming stakeholders and guests to the Exchange of Good Practices workshop. After a warm welcome by the host, KRWMC Klaipeda Regional Waste Management Center, a comprehensive flash presentation led by the project's lead partner outlined project objectives and progress. Following this, Prof. Dr. Ramūnas Povilanskas from the Sustainable Development Agency explained good practices worldwide, outside of the Interreg program, but with the same objectives as MINEV. The session concluded with two workshops on the Exchange of Good Practices conducted by ACR+, where stakeholders had the unique opportunity to introduce themselves, fostering networking and collaboration. Experts from various institutions presented initiatives and projects, addressing challenges and opportunities, with a focus on waste minimisation at the design/planning stage of cultural events and waste minimisation at the source and during the staging of events.

On the second day, participants continued their program with a study visit to Klaipeda Old Town, where they observed the waste management practices of the festival in situ. Additionally, they visited the Maritime Museum, including its sustainability classroom and the Baltic Sea animal rehabilitation center. On the third day, participants had the opportunity to partake in an awareness workshop organised by our partner in Klaipeda, aimed at Sea Festival attendees to promote proper waste separation.
