Sustainable transport initiative at ART CITY Bologna

The twelfth edition of ART CITY Bologna, the programme of exhibitions, events, and initiatives promoted by the Municipality of Bologna in cooperation with BolognaFiere, took place from 1 to 4 February 2024, coinciding with the fiftieth edition of Arte Fiera. Like every year, the much-anticipated ART CITY White Night, organised by BolognaFiere, was held on 3 February. The public had the opportunity to enjoy the city's artistic offerings well into the evening hours, thanks to the collaboration of cultural and commercial operators who extended their opening hours. Furthermore, in a move towards sustainability, an agreement between the Municipality of Bologna, Tper, and the SRM mobility agency ensured that the bus service on Bologna's N night lines was free of charge on the night between 3 and 4 February. This initiative aimed to encourage attendees to opt for public transportation, reducing the event's environmental footprint.
