1st local stakeholder meeting organised in Vas County

PBN, together with City of Szombathely organized a meeting in the framework of Intelligent City Challenge program. During the event participants held the first local stakeholder meeting of NOTRE project, too, where participants were able to to identify the challenges and possibilities of senior-care related digital solutions and PBN introduced the NOTRE project. 

Ms. Adrienn Bokányi in the name of the City of Szombathely welcomed the participants, summarised the current status of the ongoing development plans in Szombathely. She informed about the governmental and European discussions, the status of the RDI Centre and the Green Hydrogen key projects. 

Mr. Balázs Barta, the managing director of PBN gave an overview of the priority activities launched by PBN and Szombathely  and Cityt he planned next steps.. Mr. Balázs Barta also presented NOTRE project which was launched at the 1st of March. Further relevant projects of PBN were introduced to the participants. 

At the initiative of Ms. Adrienn Bokányi, all participants formulated the key projects that are priorities of Szombathely2030 for their organisation and which they are committed to implement. From the complex development plans there were more areas were the connection with NOTRE projects was identified and further discussions will be organized in the upcoming periods. 

With the University of Pécs, a complex rehabilitation training was successfully launched, there is an agreement with a PhD student to start joint research with PBN. This research is linked to NOTRE's 3 pillar analysis.  Aims to renovate the obsolete demonstration room, establish a canteen, start a research nursing MsC course, and overall establish a Regional Nursing Centre are on the table for ruther discussions. 

With Pálos Károly Social Service Centre, the cooperation aims to compile a package of tools to assist care, and to deliver them to the target group in large number. The aim is also to promote the profession, to support the success of enrolments and thus to address the labour shortage. 

With at.home, the cooperation aims to continue, expand and possibly accredit the training and awareness-raising activities started in at-home, and to thematise complex rehabilitation as a theme for Design Week, using the NOTRE project activities.

The Meeting described above is a highly relevant local stakeholder event where NOTRE project was also introduced and one of the main goals was to raise awareness of the participating members of the local ecosystem. The whole event was a complex discussion about the currently planned and ongoing local initiatives, from these points the detailed ones are the most relevant to the project. Participants also agreed on to meet each semester of the project and continuously monitor the implementation of the project activities.
