NOTRE, a project funded by the Interreg Europe programme, which supports the development of new methods aimed at improving the potential for innovation in production with concrete solutions for senior care, was launched on Wednesday 12 July in Cluj-Napoca, with the participation of representatives of organisations supporting the development of products and services in this field: universities, clusters, hospitals, NGOs, SMEs. The Regional Representatives Committee is an informal, open structure based on institutional collaboration to benefit from the transfer of expertise at a wider level beyond the project consortium. The organisations that have nominated members in the North-West Region are representative of the topic, and the list is open to organisations wishing to join initiatives.

The current composition of this group is as follows:

  • Clusters – Cluj IT Cluste, Transilvania IT Cluster
  • Universities - Babeș – Bolyai University and BBU Med, Iuliu Hațieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Technical University of Cluj-Napoca, University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca
  • NGO – FreshBlood, Make IT in OradeaClujana Municipal Hospital
  • Companies: Telios Care, Nagarro, Mira Rehab.

The meeting was a good opportunity to get to know the work of the organisations that have expressed interest in being part of this group, with a view to finding joint activities and initiatives that contribute to the development of the regional potential for innovation and digitisation in companies and institutions that support the development of products and services for the health of older people.

In a consortium of 9 partners from 7 European countries, with the North-West RDA as regional partner, each partner region has a policy instrument to support the development of new products and services through the digitisation of SMEs.

Over a period of 4 years, within NOTRE, through the exchange of experience and knowledge, the participating regions will innovate their policy instruments with the aim of developing a strategy for the realisation of testing infrastructures for products and services.
