On Wednesday, 20th November 2024, the PROXIMITIES project held a highly engaging and interactive Online Matchmaking Workshop, bringing together partners from across the consortium. The workshop aimed to prepare the groundwork for interregional exchanges and study visits, addressing shared challenges and aligning learning needs with good practices identified within the partnership.

The three-hour workshop was structured into two key sessions:

  1. Learning Needs and Common Challenges: Partners presented their primary learning needs, creating a collaborative space to identify shared areas of interest and challenge.

  2. Matching Needs with Good Practices: The second session focused on linking identified needs with relevant good practices from other partners. This initial session set the stage for more detailed discussions during upcoming online and in-person study visits.

Interactive elements, including the use of the Miro platform, enriched the workshop experience.

In preparation for the workshop, partners revisited their local reports, focusing on their learning needs, and prepared brief presentations highlighting the strengths of their good practices. This preparation ensured that discussions were focused and impactful, enabling a constructive exchange of ideas.

The PROXIMITIES Online Matchmaking Workshop underscored the project’s commitment to fostering collaboration and harnessing interregional knowledge to address common challenges faced by peripheral urban areas. T
