The meeting was attended by our permanent stakeholder group, composed by the main stakeholders regarding the CER development in Wallonia (BE):

  • the main DSO (Ores),
  • Regulator (Cwape),
  • 4 CER projects leaders,
  • representative of Energy Minister,
  • representative of Energy Ministry (SPW) and
  • the law office that supported the Energy Ministry to write our policy instrument :  the decree that regulates CER (the representative of the law office and the regulator couldn’t attend the meeting and have been consulted separately through online meetings)

The composition of the stakeholder group is expected to change accordingly to the topic of the meeting.

The meeting was arranged on the 27th of June 2023 and hosted at headquarter of Walloon Energy Ministry (Place de Wallonie, 5100, Namur).

The meeting involved all the stakeholders gathered by Energie Commune for the purpose to introduce the project, the objectives of the stakeholder group and to get their contribution to the belgian SWOT analysis of CER development in Wallonia.

It will have four different aspects: technical, regulatory, economic, and social.

The analysis will be finalised before the start of September 2023. After that, Energie Commune will get back to the stakeholders with the finalised SWOT analysis and tell them the next steps.
