Encourage the development of RECs in France: let's talk!
Interreg Europe-REC4EU is an initiative aimed at improving public policies through the exchange of best practice, to which Alec and the Nouvelle-Aquitaine Region are committed.
The project brings together 8 partners from 7 countries:
- Italy
- Slovakia
- Poland
- Finland
- Belgium
- Spain
- France
In France, Alec is working with CIRENA, the accelerator for citizen RE projects in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, and Solévent, the citizens' company that is working collectively on the energy transition in the Gironde department.
The two organisations bring citizens together to work on joint renewable energy production projects.
On 22 September 2023, CIRENA, Solévent and Alec met to take a closer look at the current situation, identify the first best practices to be developed and seize the opportunities offered by the REC4EU project for the region. Other organisations will soon be invited to contribute to the project as part of a local exchange group.
