Four different local stakeholders were involved:

  • Energie Commune, as the coordinator of the SunSud Project and member of REC4EU project;
  • City Mine(d), as the partner of Energy Commune in this pilot project and responsible for the involvement of the Citizen,
  • Fdss, as a consultant;
  • Le Foyer du Sud, as the involved owner of the building (Social housing company).

25 peoples joined the meeting.

After 3 theoretical sessions, a visit of the real installation (solar panels, smart-meters room) and some contacts with people involved in the project took place.

Goals of the day:

  • Visiting the SunSud project (energy sharing in a social housing).
  • Understand the difficulties, drivers and benefits from this energy sharing project in a social context
  • Hear about the future of energy sharing and energy communities from the involved stakeholders in SunSud project + FDSS + Brupower + Regional Facilitator.
  • REC4EU project : how to go beyond

A focus on the economical analysis was done to illustrate who can win or loose in an electricity sharing activity and who would (still) need a financial support from authorities.
