Munster University of Technology organised the 3rd Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting within the SIRM project. The event was split into two different meetings. The first took place on 29.04.2024 in Cork and the second on 01.05.2024 in Dublin. This was an opportunity to take advantage of the bilateral visit to Ireland of the Croatian and Italian partners to inform Irish stakeholders about the aims, objectives, partners and implementation plan of the SIRM project

This was the first face-to-face meeting of the Regional Stakeholder Group of the SIRM project in Ireland, as local stakeholders in Ireland come from all over the country - with government departments, DFHERIS and DETE, the Irish Refugee Council and QQI based in Dublin, while the other stakeholders who attended were based in the South West. Both meetings followed the same schedule.

The meetings started with a recap of the events of the SIRM project and the activities undertaken in semester 2. Each of the participants from the different stakeholder organisations briefly introduced themselves and their role in their organisation. During the meeting, the discussion focused on specific programmes that might be of interest for presentation in Brindisi, including: ‘Refugee Employment Integration Program’ and “New Beginnings, Children & Families Project”. The meeting also discussed plans for upcoming events.
