3rd Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting – Prešov (Slovakia)

On 18 June 2024 another meeting took place in Prešov (Slovakia). This was the 3rd Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting, which was attended by regional representatives from six organisations and municipalities actively working with migrants and refugees in the Prešov region.

The main goal of the meeting was to present information gathered at the 3rd Transnational Learning Meeting, which was held on June 5-6, 2024, in Brindisi and Bari, Italy.

During the meeting, regional stakeholders received insights into how partner organizations address the topic of adaptation and assimilation of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. Additionally, stakeholders who directly participated in the Transnational Learning Meeting in Brindisi shared their experiences.

Representatives of the City of Prešov presented their activities within the framework of a project implemented in cooperation with UNICEF and examples of good practices.

Participants were informed about the next steps in the SIRM project, specifically the planned 4th TLM and the possibility of conducting a bilateral meeting with Romanian partners in Prešov region.
