4th Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting - Poland (Rzeszów)

On 3 December 2024, the 4th Meeting of the Regional Stakeholder Group of the SIRM was held in Poland. The venue for the meeting was the premises of the Regional Centre for Social Policy in Rzeszów. The main topic of this meeting was the cooperation of public institutions and NGOs in the process of integration of refugees and migrants. The meeting was an opportunity to showcase the good practices and solutions presented by the partners during the 4th Transnational Learning Meeting held in Romania in September this year.

Participants had the opportunity to learn about solutions and good practices used in the partner countries. The main objective of these practices is to support the integration of refugees and migrants. A large part of the solutions presented concerned the inhabitants of Ukraine, who had left their country to flee the war.

Various types of initiatives and examples of cooperation with organisations providing support to migrants and refugees were presented and discussed during the meeting. Participants at the meeting had the opportunity to learn about solutions used in other partner countries and, through the examples given, see what effects they have and how they work in reality.

The meeting was another great opportunity to exchange experiences between foreign partners and regional stakeholders.
