Partners from the various regions have convened in Breda for the inaugural interregional meeting session.

The event took place over the course of three days - from March 6 to 8 - fostering collaboration and insights exchange.

The kickoff, on Monday, March 6, featured in-depth discussions on the workplan programme for the project's lifecycle.

The momentum continued on Tuesday, March 7, with a series of interactive workshops centred on Stakeholder Involvement & Engagement, as well as Destination Status Quo / Baseline Methodology, providing a platform for participants to delve into crucial aspects of the project.

The final day, Wednesday, March 8, offered an enriching blend of activities, with a gathering at the Amsterdam partner's office, followed by a captivating field visit to Amsterdam Castle Muiderslot. The afternoon was dedicated to exploring the iconic Zaanse Schans.

The 'Tourism in Balance' interregional meeting session not only facilitated comprehensive discussions on sustainable tourism strategies but also enabled partners to experience firsthand the cultural and historical richness of the Netherlands. The event set a promising tone for future collaborative initiatives in the realm of responsible tourism.
