On March 11-12, 2025, the Yes Volunteer project is heading to Kielce, Poland, for its third study visit. This gathering isn’t just about discussions—it’s about real stories, real impact, and real change. Over two days, participants will explore how volunteering can open doors for young people who are not in education, employment, or training (NEETs), helping them find purpose, gain skills, and step confidently into the future.

Day 1: Ideas That Inspire Action

The visit kicks off with a welcome from the Mayor of Kielce, Agata Wojda, followed by a thought-provoking keynote by Vice Mayor Bartłomiej Zapała, who will shed light on Poland’s role in the Council of the EU.

The heart of the day will be a roundtable discussion on how volunteering can bridge the gap between NEETs and the professional world. Moderator Kama Kępczyńska will guide the conversation, bringing together leaders, changemakers, and experts to exchange ideas, share success stories, and explore how volunteering transforms lives—not just in Poland, but across Europe.

Day 2: Learning from Those Who Lead the Way

Theory turns into practice as participants step into the heart of volunteering in Kielce. Visits to three key organizations will showcase how grassroots efforts are making a real difference:

  • Regional Volunteer Centre – A place where volunteers connect, contribute, and create impact.
  • Caritas Kielce – A support network for vulnerable communities, offering programs that change lives.
  • Foundation Polish Red Cross – A cornerstone of humanitarian aid and social inclusion in Poland.

Through these visits, participants will meet the people behind the initiatives, witness their impact firsthand, and gather inspiration to bring back to their own communities.

This study visit isn’t just an event—it’s a step forward in empowering young people through volunteering. By sharing experiences and fostering collaboration, Yes Volunteer is helping to build a future where every young person has a chance to thrive.

Stay tuned for updates on our project website, where we’ll share insights, stories, and key takeaways from the visit.
