1st meeting of the Local Stakeholder Group in Zagreb

Active implementation of the Remote Healthcare for Silver Europe - CARES project began with the first meeting of the Local Stakeholders Group (LSG), which was held in 24th of May 2023, at the premises of ZG Forum in Zagreb. The goal of the project is the improvement of local and regional policies responsible for the modernization of the health system using innovative telecare and telemedicine solutions.

In order for the outcome of the project to be as high-quality and applicable in practice as possible, a group of local stakeholders has been established, comprising of representatives of nine health institutions in ownership of the City of Zagreb, namely: the Psychiatry Clinic Vrapče, the Home Health Care Institution, the Teaching Institute for Public Health "Dr. Andrija Štampar", Psychiatry Clinic Sveti Ivan, Health Center Zagreb - Center, Health Center Zagreb - East, Health Center Zagreb - West, Polyclinics for Prevention of Cardiovascular Diseases and Rehabilitation (Srčana) and Children's Hospital Srebrnjak.

Upon the introduction and presentation of the Project itself by the project manager Mrs. Marijana Prevendar, prof. of sociology, representatives of the afore-mentioned institutions presented possible directions in the development of telemedicine and telecare, and presented examples of good practice from their respective institutions.
