CEI BOOST regional dissemination event in Tarragona

The Tarragona Provincial Council held on the 21st November 2023 a regional dissemination event to present the CEIBOOST project to its local stakeholders. The event took place during the Connect@ day: Talent and New economies event organised by the Entrepreneurship and Employment Unit of the Tarragona Provincial Council. The event gives visibility and offers synergies and networking opportunities for entrepreneurs and companies in the Tarragona province, promoting their creativity, sustainability, and innovation. The event counted with more than 70 participants. During the event the staff involved in the CEIBOOST project presented its main goals and activities and engaged in the debate about the importance of the circular economy and its impact in the short and long term in the region. In addition to the presentation of the CEIBOOST project, three companies that have the circular economy as a key value of their business presented their best practices: Unió de Reus, an agrifood cooperative, Grup Pòsit, a restauration company, and AITASA, the public company for the management of industrial waters. This was followed by a round table about new economies with the participation of several Spanish Provincial Governments.
