Project Training Days
The Central Macedonia Regional Development Fund (RDFCM), recently partcipated in the “Project Training Days” event, organized under the Interreg Europe program. This event marked an important opportunity for RDFCM, as the region serves as a lead partner in DeepTechValleys, a pioneering project driving Deep Tech Innovation across the European Union.
Held as part of Interreg Europe’s commitment to regional innovation, the training days brought together experts and stakeholders from various European regions, creating a collaborative platform to share knowledge, build new skills, and refine strategies for supporting deep tech and creative industries. For RDFCM, this event provided valuable insights into building strong, resilient ecosystems that foster innovation and entrepreneurship across multiple sectors.
The DeepTechValleys project seeks to establish a network of interconnected “deep tech valleys” across Europe, which will enhance the growth of technology-driven startups and boost local economies.
Throughout the training days, attendees engaged in discussions and workshops that explored best practices and effective policy solutions to drive forward their respective projects. For RDFCM, participating in these sessions was invaluable, as it helped outline concrete steps to further strengthen local deep tech and creative sectors. This initiative aligns closely with the region’s broader goals of promoting sustainable economic growth, supporting job creation, and boosting competitiveness.
The Project Training Days event underscored the importance of regional partnerships and collaboration in tackling challenges faced by both tech and creative sectors across Europe. With this strong foundation, RDFCM is set to continue its leadership role, driving forward the DeepTechValleys to make a lasting impact on regional innovation.
