Project Training Days in Lille!

Between 24th - 26th September, 2024, in Lille, France, Interreg Europe Joint Secretariat hosted the Interreg Europe Project Training Days, gathering lead partners, finance managers, controllers, and communication managers from 78 projects approved in the programme's second call. Two representatives from Hévíz Municipality, the leader of DIGITALIZE project attended the event, gaining valuable insights to support the effective execution of our project. 

Day 1: Financial Reporting

The first day focused on financial reporting principles and the legal frameworks. Our project team members engaged in interactive group work, addressing challenges in financial reporting, cost accounting, and project administration. 

Day 2: Project Activity Reporting and Collaboration

Day two concentrated on project activity reporting. Group tasks encouraged collaboration with other project partners, allowing participants to exchange experiences and work on common challenges. 

Day 3: Communication Strategies

The final day was dedicated to communication training, with a focus on improving project visibility. Participants reviewed the programme’s communication requirements and received practical tips for enhancing their project websites and communication strategies. 

Overall, the Interreg Europe Project Training Days provided an invaluable learning opportunity. We would like to thank the staff of the Joint Secretariat for organising such an exciting, enjoyable and entertaining event, which still delivered significant professional content. The innovative approach of the event allowed our team to deepen our knowledge of the programme requirements while fostering collaborative relationships with other project partners.
