After Brussels and Paris, Livorno welcomed us from novembre 19th to 22nd, with all the friendliness of the Italians, to discuss kpi's and best practices implemented by the Livorno provincial administration.

Following the presentation of the agenda, the first morning was devoted to a presentation of the kpi's used by the various partners in their administration to measure the development of digital skills and their impact:

  • Quantitative: how many agents have already had an assessment of their digital skills, undergone digital training, etc.?
  • Qualitative: what is the level of digital skills achieved, are training courses useful and directly put into practice, ...
  • But also kpi which measure the result of the development of digital skills on the job: use of professional e-mail address, number of help desk tickets, number of vacation requests via the intranet...

An exhaustive list is shared at the end of the presentations.

Next, participants are taken to an archaeological museum, where virtual reality allows visitors to immerse themselves in the life of yesteryear.

The following day, two other best practices were presented to us:

  • the online recruitment process, which requires a minimum of digital skills on the part of the applicant: logging on, using the smartphone camera, submitting a document...
  • a geo-territorial application that requires specific digital skills on the part of different administrative audiences - developers, enumerators, citizens, administrative agents, street agents, etc. - to ensure optimal use of the tool for the benefit of the province and its citizens.

And to the delight of participants, the seminar was also an opportunity to sample fine Italian cuisine and excellent wines.
