Regional Stakeholder meeting #1 at Syddjurs Municipality

On March 23th Syddjurs Municipality had invited regional partners for the first Stakeholder Group Meeting for GOCORE. All Stakeholders were carefully selected amongst regional organizations working on rural development; Central Region Denmark, The National Council for Rural Affairs, LEADER Organization Djursland,  Norddjurs Municipality and representatives from two of in total 14 Rural District Councils in Syddjurs Municipality.

The First Stakeholder meeting took place in Maltfabrikken – the newest cultural and creative powerhouse situated in Ebeltoft, also known as The Peoples Factory. The first round of presentation also included a brief discussion on the mutual challenges in citizens participation in making of policies and strategies.

The main topic for this first stakeholder meeting were to establish each stakeholders role and willingness to contribute to the GOCORE project and the return of investment. All stakeholders were engaged on a high level and found that the GOCORE project were relevant and useful.
