The meeting, held via Microsoft Teams, brought together key local, regional, and national stakeholders committed to building resilient communities through enhanced local engagement and participation.
The meeting, led by Jorge Brito, Executive Secretary of CIM-RC, focused on reviewing the recommendations from the GOCORE Coimbra Peer Review conducted earlier this year and discussing the next steps for implementation. Participants, including representatives from IIBT Pinhal Interior, ADXTUR, the Operational Programme Centro 2030, AD&C - Cohesion and Development Agency, and CoLAB ForestWISE, engaged in fruitful discussions on governance models, public participation, and the importance of communication and digitalization in strengthening regional resilience.
The session concluded with a consensus on the value of the GOCORE project in assessing and improving the resilience of the Pinhal Interior region. Stakeholders were encouraged to engage with the project’s communication channels to further contribute to its success.
This meeting marks another important step in fostering collaboration and building stronger communities across the region.
