2nd meeting Guldborgsund

Local/regional/national stakeholders of the Guldborgsun Municipality were invited to join a Dissemination and Network meeting on 6 December to hear more about INERTWASTE.

Stakeholders invited included both public and private organisations, as they have different roles. It is expected that progress in developing the circular economy agenda will be led by the public institutions, for example, by municipalities.

The purpose of the meeting was to:

  • strengthen the value chain from demolition of old house to building of new houses.
  • discuss with the stakeholders on how they can participate and benefit from the INERTWASTE project activities.
  • receive feedback from stakeholders how they may participate INERTWASTE activities for showcases for demolition and new constructions.

Building Renovation Specialist Agnes Denberg and External Advisor Kristian Birkegaard each presented how Guldborgsund would like to work together with stakeholders for networking and establishing national networks, and how we are using showcases for demolishing and for new constructions following the construction materials through the total value chain.

The meeting also included discussions in small groups under the headings:

  • Availability of the building resources
  • The transport of the construction materials
  • The new value of the construction materials.

In addition, plans for the INERTWASTE work during spring 2024 were presented.
