Project summary
The MaaSolutions project - 'Digital solutions for sustainable urban mobility' - involves European local and regional authorities from 9 European countries: Italy, Romania, Belgium, Latvia, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Netherlands and Serbia.
The project intends to foster Political Authorities capacities in governing the complex transformation of mobility in urban areas through innovative strategies such as Mobility as a Service (MaaS). The effective Maas will be able to offer citizens simplified access to multiple mobility options to meet different needs and thus foster a modal shift towards more sustainable transport modes, streamlining the use of individual vehicle mobility and reducing negative externalities related to car traffic.
Local and regional decision makers and experts will dialogue and exchange experiences through a joint analysis, study visits, workshops and dissemination events. Good practices and innovative solutions from the four programme areas will be collected to increase knowledge and promote a common understanding of MaaS in Europe.
