2nd Stakeholder Meeting in Liepāja, Latvia
On March 28, 2025, the 2nd stakeholder group meeting of Liepāja City Municipality Central Administration took place in person, gathering ten participants from the administration staff, public transport, region planning and tourism sectors.
Participants had insights on the results of the 1st international learning event held in Szombathely on March 25-26, 2025 and Hungary’s best practices in sustainable mobility, explored and compared results of the stakeholder questionnaire on the development of the MaaS business model in the project’s partner regions, discussed the progress with the procurement process and data collection tasks of the end-user’s questionnaire. During the meeting were determined the dates of the next international learning event, as well as the time period of the expected learning event in Liepāja.
The stakeholders stressed out the importance of the needed pilot activities to be tested in different urban environments in each of the partner regions within the project scope, as that would be a great practical benefit of seeing how the primary infrastructure could support the development of the Mobility as a Service (MaaS) in the cities.
