3rd stakeholders meeting organized in San Sebastian

On May 31, 2024, we brought together at EKINN the main stakeholders of the local R&D&I ecosystem to present and share with them the Innovation Plan 2024 of Fomento de San Sebastián. The meeting was attended by Directors, Scientific Directors and CEOs of Universities, Vocational Training Centres, Research Centres, Technology Centres, Start-ups, SMEs and large companies, mainly from the health sector or active in it. It was a close meeting, with the presentation of our new Councillor for Local Economy and Employment, Ane Oyarbide, who shared the lines of the Innovation Plan, as well as its deployment of measures and tools.

Among the strategic lines, NOTRE project (Interreg Europe) was presented in the framework of supporting new start-ups and local stakeholders in the health sector, as well as in line with European projects. After the presentation, a round of questions, comments and contributions from all participants was opened, which generated a good debate and contrast to carry out this plan in collaboration with local stakeholders. This debate also served to improve and incorporate new lines of work to enhance the research and innovation ecosystem of the city and its international positioning in different areas of interest, also with a focus on the field of health.
