Online discussion: Energy community project cluster meeting

The Policy Learning Platform is set to host an engaging online discussion on April 9, 2024, focusing on the energy community project cluster meeting, detailed here.

With increasing attention from local and regional policymakers, the significance of renewable energy communities as catalysts for the ongoing energy transition is becoming more evident. These communities are recognized for their potential contribution to shaping and expediting the shift towards sustainable energy practices.

The event will showcase presentations from four initiatives highlighted within the Interreg Europe energy community projects cluster, namely ShareRES, LEEWAY, REC4EU, and SIreNERGY. Each initiative will offer brief presentations covering their consortium, areas of focus, accomplishments, plans for 2024, areas requiring input, and potential opportunities for cooperation.
