3rd meeting of the stakeholder group in NE region of Romania
On August 2, 2024, the 3rd online meeting of the stakeholder group within the SIreNERGY project took place, with stakeholders from the North-East region participating. The meeting was organized to discuss the progress of the project, share ideas, and plan the next stages of our collaboration.
The meeting agenda included the following main points:
- Presentation of the SIreNERGY project progress: The coordination team provided a summary of the activities carried out so far, including achievements and challenges encountered. We presented the Polish best practices observed during the study tour organized by the Marshal's Office of the Mazovia Voivodeship. At the municipal kindergarten in Michałowice, we saw how solar panels and efficient insulation systems reduce energy consumption and promote sustainability. The KEZO Research Center impressed us with its advanced wind, solar, and geothermal energy technologies, demonstrating their potential in reducing carbon emissions. At the Zawady Biogas Plant, we learned how organic waste is transformed into renewable energy, offering ecological and economic solutions for waste management and energy production.
- Discussions about holistic diagnoses and the customized map for each region: Group members had the opportunity to provide feedback and suggestions for improvement.
- Planning the next study visit: The next study visit of the consortium within the project, which will take place in Romania in January 2025, was discussed. Participants were invited to propose examples of best practices from their region that could be presented during the visit.
- Questions and answers: The session ended with an open discussion where participants had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify various aspects related to the project.
The meeting was productive and provided all participants with the opportunity to actively engage in the development and implementation of the SIreNERGY project. We remain dedicated to our common goals and look forward to the next stages of the project.
