Dissemination event:Unlocking International Project Benefits
On March 4, 2024, an inspiring IOB Forum took place, focusing on the benefits of implementing international projects.
The event was primarily targeted at local and regional governments, public institutions, private non-profit entities, and universities seeking funding for their ideas and looking to broaden their perspectives on potential solutions for their activities.
The forum’s main topic was the advantages of applying for funds through European Territorial Cooperation programs, such as Interreg: Europe, Central Europe, and the Baltic Sea Region. Attendees received valuable insights into funding opportunities and strategies for developing international projects. Special thanks go to Anna Stol and Monika Strojecka-Gevorgyan from the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy for their excellent presentations.
Additionally, the Mazovian Voivodeship shared its experiences in implementing projects under Interreg Europe, showcasing specific results from projects supported during the 2014-2020 period, including S3Chem, Agri Renaissance, COHES3ION, SMARTY, as well as activities within new projects such as PROACTsme, SIreNERGY, IMPETUS, and SECON. The discussion highlighted the benefits of participation, emphasizing how these projects facilitate the exchange of experiences, the enhancement of competencies, and the development of innovative solutions.
The forum aimed to encourage public institutions from Mazovia to apply for funds in upcoming Interreg program calls and to familiarize themselves with the best practices of the Mazovian Voivodeship.
