Strengthening Unity through the Three Seas Initiative
The Three Seas Initiative (3SI) is a project launched in 2015 by the presidents of Poland and Croatia, with the strategic goal of preserving and strengthening the unity of the European Union and the Euro-Atlantic area. The Three Seas Initiative comprises 13 countries: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Greece, Lithuania, Latvia, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Hungary. This year, the 4th Three Seas Local Government Congress is hosting over 900 participants from 20 countries.
During the INTERNATIONAL SESSION, one of the panels focused on "Case Study - Examples of Good Practices and Projects." This part of the Congress aimed to create a space for inspiration, exchange of experiences, and relationship-building among professionals involved in international cooperation within the Three Seas area. The panel highlighted selected projects that have already achieved success, are currently being implemented, or have great potential for future implementation, including the SIreNERGY project, that was presented to a broader audience via a virtual channel during the "Good Practices of the Three Seas Initiative - Case Studies" panel.
