The 1st Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting in Ireland

The 1st Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting in Ireland took place on 18 May 2023. The meeting was held by Munster Technological University. The meeting was held online via MS Teams as local stakeholders in Ireland are drawn from all across the country. The main goal of this first Regional Stakeholder Group Meeting for Ireland was to ensure that Irish stakeholders become part of the SIRM project and update all on project goals, aims, partners and implementation plan. Also outlining how Interreg Projects run and the plan for the 4 years which is focused on exchange of knowledge and cross fertilisation of Ideas.

Part of the meeting was to showcase the draft agenda for the 1st Transnational Learning Meeting (TLM) combined with Study Visits hosted by the Rzeszow Regional Development Agency in Rzeszów, Poland on the 4th and 5th of July 2023. The meeting also included a discussion focused on Social Attitudes and prejudices towards Refugees and Asylum Seekers.
