The main goal of this meeting is to introduce examples of good practice through presentations regarding: "Supplementary support for migrants and refugees: housing, social, educational and health assistance".

Each partner presented how they specifically deal with the problems that the care of migrants and refugees brings with them. The objective was to show the different ideas and projects that are being implemented across Europe and to raise awareness of the multitude of needs, the satisfaction of which should ensure a level of social sensitivity.

In an online workshop organized by the University of Groningen, from Netherlands, the participants were divided into groups and with the help of a moderator from the University of Groningen, they discussed and exchanged experiences about the situation in their countries and cities, as well as the problems they encounter when meeting migrants and refugees, and ways to solve them the same.

The second day of the meeting began with a tour of the town of Šibenik and a review of the situation during the war in Croatia in the 1990s. After that, the participants had the opportunity to listen to lecturers from the field of psychotherapy for children affected by the war, volunteers, representatives of civil protection and workers from the field of culture and their contribution in migrant and refugee’s crisis.

The meeting ended with an exhibition of photographs entitled ˝Every Child Needs Peace˝ as a retrospective of the war in Croatia and the war in Ukraine, how it affected children and mitigating the consequences through art and culture.
