Meet Lviv Regional Development Agency (Discovery Partner)

The Lviv Regional Development Agency (Agency) carries out work in accordance with the defined tasks in the context of the implementation of the state regional policy, in particular, facilitating the attraction and implementation of international technical assistance projects (programs) for the restoration and/or development of the region; organizing and conducting trainings, educational and other activities on the development and implementation of regional development projects, attracting investments, developing entrepreneurship, and developing industrial parks; participate in the work related to the relocation of production enterprises, search for suitable production facilities and/or land plots, establishing relevant links and contacts; provide consulting and information support to business entities on business activities, investment activities and project management, and opportunities to establish cooperation with foreign partners.

The Agency operates in accordance with the Regulations on the Institution "Regional Development Agency of Lviv Region", and its main tasks in the context of implementing state regional policy are:

• participation in the development, updating, and ensuring the implementation of State Strategy for Regional Development for 2021-2027, Development Strategy of Lviv Region for 2021-2027, regional recovery and development plans, territorial community recovery and development plans, regional and local development in the context of Eurointegration;
• attracting and implementing projects (programs) of international technical assistance and cross-border cooperation aimed at the recovery and/or development of the region;
• organization and conduct of training and other educational events for representatives of local executive authorities, local self-government bodies on the development and implementation of regional development projects;
• participation in the development and implementation of activities in the region to support the development of small and medium-sized enterprises;
• assistance in implementing activities on the regional level to support and promote European integration of Ukraine.
