Mind the Gap: addressing skills mismatch in Region Skåne

The Mind the Gap Tool was co-created by IUC Syd and Region Skåne as a way to support strategic identification of skills and competence development needs.

The Mind the Gap tool helps identify needs for skills and competence development with future skills in mind. Both in the short term and long term. It also assists in planning and implementing strategic skills management so organisations can achieve favourable conditions for their plans for growth as part of their journey within the twin transition.

In the context of the Interreg Europe project SKYLA, Smart Specialisation Skills Ecosystems for the Twin Transition, the best practice is an opportunity for partners to learn about how regional authorities can support businesses in supporting the skills development of their employees.
