Between the 7 and 9 of November 2023, SKYLA partners will meet for a project meeting in Swords, Fingal, Ireland. The goal of the meetings will be to help partners recognise common ground for exchange, in terms of their policy needs.

The meeting will involve an interactive workshop on policy needs, with on-site study visits to understand where potential solutions to policy needs could be found.

The agenda will include:

🔷 Presentation of the policy needs of each partner, and comparative needs analysis

🔷 An interactive workshop on Policy solutions

🔷 Presentations from Fingal on their regional skills strategy and solutions in place, by Aoife Sheridan, Senior Executive Officer, Economic, Enterprise, Tourism, Culture Development, Fingal County Council and Chief Executive of Fingal County Council Ann Marie Farrelly

🔷 Talks from the SOLAS state agency, Dublin Regional Skills Forum and the National Apprenticeships Office

🔷 Visits to Baldoyle Training Centre and DCU Campus

At the end of the meeting in Ireland, partners will have a greater sense of how they can identify their policy challenges and pinpoint actionable solutions, with concrete examples.
