Rimini/Ialoveni Staff Exchange for a better logistics
On 17 July, The Municipality of Rimini hosted the recently approved Discovery Partner, Ialoveni City Hall, from Moldova.
The meeting aimed at learning from the Rimini Sustainable Urban Logistics Plan experience.
The morning began with a warm welcome session, with Roberta Frisoni the Councillor of Urban Planning and Mobility of the Municipality of Rimini who also spent the rest of the day with participants.
The Municipality of Rimini provided an overview of Rimini's unique mobility and city logistics challenges, laying the groundwork for the day's discussions. In particular Rimini showed to the deputy mayor of Ialoveni its SUMP and SULP. The morning session concluded with a networking lunch, where participants had the opportunity to connect, exchange ideas, and build valuable relationships. After Lunch the participants had the chance to visit the Bicipolitana path, the enlarged city bike lane, and the Parco del Mare, the new regeneration area nearby the beach, where no cars are allowed and a new sustainable green area has been created.
