PROJECT GOAL

The main goal of the project is to improve policy instruments for the integrated territorial development of small and medium-sized cities. The project's activities focus on amending policy instruments in the following thematic areas:

• Revitalisation/regeneration
• Overall regional/local development
• Climate change adaptation
• Entrepreneurship and business development

PROJECT SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

1. Adopt a more holistic, place-based approach to urban development in the context of small and medium-sized cities in the EU
2. Raise awareness, gain commitment and infl uence policy makers on issue related to quality of life, revitalisation and sustainable integrated territorial development in small and medium-sized cities
3. Increase knowledge, involve, collaborate and empower external stakeholders in small and mid-sized cities
4. Inform, share knowledge and experience from InterRevita project among the general public and all interested parties in EU

KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES

• Establishing interregional cooperation at project level for effective exchange of experience
• Setting up stakeholder groups at the local/regional level
• Identifing and analysing practices on integrated urban development
• Peer-reviewing and improving Policy Instruments
• Sharing experience
