PROJECT GOAL
The main goal of the project is to improve policy instruments for the integrated territorial development of small and medium-sized cities. The project's activities focus on amending policy instruments in the following thematic areas:
- Revitalisation/regeneration
- Overall regional/local development
- Climate change adaptation
- Entrepreneurship and business development
PROJECT SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- Adopt a more holistic, place-based approach to urban development in the context of small and medium-sized cities in the EU
- Raise awareness, gain commitment and infl uence policy makers on issue related to quality of life, revitalisation and sustainable integrated territorial development in small and medium-sized cities
- Increase knowledge, involve, collaborate and empower external stakeholders in small and mid-sized cities
- Inform, share knowledge and experience from InterRevita project among the general public and all interested parties in EU
KEY PROJECT ACTIVITIES
- Establishing interregional cooperation at project level for effective exchange of experience
- Setting up stakeholder groups at the local/regional level
- Identifing and analysing practices on integrated urban development
- Peer-reviewing and improving Policy Instruments
- Sharing experience
