CGIAM is an Italian scientific body governed by public law operating in the field of environment monitoring, civil protection and research aimed at the reduction of natural and human-induced hazards. It promotes the development of international cooperation by participating in EU-funded research programs and implementing projects of institutional building, technological application and R&D.
