About the organisation
REA Kvarner was founded by Primorje-Gorski Kotar County (one of Croatia's 21 counties) and its main objective is to encourage sustainable regional development through the use of renewable energy sources and by promoting energy efficiency. REA Kvarner has a strong focus on international cooperation and since 2017 it has been involved in a number of projects funded by H2020 and Interreg MED programs that, each in their own way, contributed to the energy transition on the County level.
