About the project
Pursuing carbon neutrality in the Alpine region, starting with the innovation of school buildings and the training provided in such contexts and developing post-carbon and self-sufficient solutions, is the goal of the project.
The capacities in the field of innovative construction and management of schools will be strenghtened through the exchange of good practices and the preparation of operational documentation (action plans and guidelines).
Other results expected:
- introduction of digital integrated educational activities,
- open spaces also for civic use
- create buildings with high performance in the field of environmental sustainability, resilience to floods, landslides and changes in the availability of water resources.
Policy makers and stakeholders at different policy levels, as well as energy communities, will be involved to enhance skills and competences to support the ecological transition.
