About the project
(ALREADY APPROVED. We are not looking for partners) Multiple studies have shown significant evidence about the benefits of protected areas for health and well-being. Besides, well managed and accessible facilities in protected areas can reduce social inequalities and attract more people to enjoy health benefits and support nature protection, restoration and investment in Europe’s parks. By promoting better policies, practices and partnerships, the potential of European protected areas to contribute to the health of people and of ecosystems can be maximised. The project aims to improve the resilience of protected areas, through the strengthening of links between biodiversity protection and human health.
