About the project
Large data centres are one of the driving forces of the digital economy, and a lever for economic activation in those territories where such investments are located thanks to the multiplier effect they have on other industries.
The objective of CLOUD REGIONS is to maximise the potential and opportunity for economic growth and regional development offered by the deployment of these centres by addressing the key enablers that foster the development of an innovative cloud ecosystem and meeting business, economic and social policy objectives.
Through a process of learning and exchange of experiences, the aim is to implement actions in the territories that will attract more investments in data centres, facilitate the transition of companies to the cloud, improve the qualification of the related workforce, improve the environmental management of these investments and develop the regional ecosystem around cloud technologies.
