The Interreg Slam is a storytelling contest for Interreg projects and programmes to celebrate European cooperation and give visibility to projects' achievements. This year's focus is on equal access to education, health and work.

Represent Interreg Europe in Interreg Slam

Interreg Europe invites its projects to join this competition, especially if your project:

  • Addresses (or has tackled) inclusion and empowerment
  • Wishes to share its story, turn it into a video and present it on stage in front of European policymakers, politicians and professionals
How to apply

Four simple steps for Interreg Europe projects to follow:

1. Send an email to the Interreg Europe's joint secretariat to express your interest in joining the Interreg Slam. Our communication team will be glad to support you with preparing your entry.

2. Visit the Interreg Slam website by Interact and check the contest's rules.

3. Work on a brief story about your project (results, impact, achievements, good practice, pilot action). The story should be outlined in a 11-slide presentation (visuals, key messages). You can make use of a template and a guidance document to prepare your story.

4. Submit your story to the Interreg Slam by 1 July 2024.

Why participate

The Interreg Slam is a unique opportunity to get Europe-wide visibility for your project. If your story is engaging, interesting and inspiring, you'll have a chance to:

  • Win the production of a professional promo video, showcasing your project’s story;
  • Receive coaching by a top level expert in storytelling and video-making
  • Win a trip to Nova Gorica / Gorizia (Slovenia / Italy) to present your story on stage during the Interreg GO! event (March 2025)
  • Benefit from Interact's publicity and reach millions of people.

Each year, more than a hundred project stories compete for the opportunity to take the spotlight in the Interreg Slam.
