About the project
Today, increasing importance is attached to the origin and quality of food. Local food and short supply chains provide fresher and higher quality food and a healthier diet. The use of short supply chains makes it easier to determine the origin and authenticity of food, especially in terms of the identity of a particular area, the traditional production processes of that area, as well as the origin of the product. This project will be focused on the development of an innovative market system and innovative business models that can incentivise food supply chain members to follow circular strategies. Our plan is to adopt a new circular approach ā reuse, recycle, remake, redistribute ā with aim to ensure zero food waste in the food chain.
