Key Objectives of the proposal:

• To promote policies, strategies and programmes related to industrial ecology and symbiosis, namely closed loop procedures, eco-efficiency, sufficiency and minimization of linear processes.
• To showcase best practices in the field of industrial symbiosis and exchange experiences between partners of different background (authorities, academia, industry) and different maturity level (“lighthouse” regions and organizations and “followers”)
• To achieve policy improvements within the participating regions, or produce an action plan for policy improvement.
• To empower regions to support successful circular economy business models and strengthen sustainable competitiveness and economy, taking into account climate change, environmental quality and societal consensus and prosperity.
