Spatial planning & energy transition

The EU’s climate goals are clear: 55% reduction of GHG emissions by 2030 and climate neutrality by 2050. Reaching these objectives requires a major energy transition. A transition that has a spatial impact as well. How can we reduce our energy needs and emissions whilst sustainably organising our space? This project brings together managing authorities and partners to exchange good practices and improve their, and their stakeholders’, capacity on implementing impactful energy policies whilst working on sustainable spatial planning. We are looking for a public authority working on spatial planning & energy transition that wants to join the project as a project partner.
