About the project
The conduct of territorial governance and cohesion policy is requesting the implementation of targeted actions based on the specific economic, social and cultural profile of the population at the scale of a village or an urban subdistrict. Developing analysis tools enabling such a geo-differentiated approach is instrumental to lead efficient local policies.
The objective of our project idea is to undertake a joint study on how tools based on the processing of the "local big data" by combining techniques such as AI-based data analysis and econometric modelling can help reducing the economic, social and health territorial inequalities.
By sharing the results and the lessons learned from application use cases within the partnership, the project intends to study how a spatialized behavioral analysis of a territory and of its population based on the so-called syndemic approach could improve the policy instrument on both structural, strategic and operational perspectives.
Partners we are looking for
- Munipalities and local authorities experimenting methodologies to analyse population's health state and needs ;
- At least one authority aiming to shape a regional policy funded by ERDF
