Policy-makers and reuse practitioners gather in Slovenia

The Environmental Research Institute organized a meeting within the WEEEWaste project, which gathered together policy decision-makers and reuse practitioners. The meeting was held at the Reuse Center in Ljubljana on November 23rd 2023.

The Minister of Environment, climate, and energy, Mag. Bojan Kumer, and the director-general of the environmental directorate, mag. Tanja Bolte, emphasized the crucial importance of managing climate change through our daily activities. A special focus was placed on waste reduction, especially electronic waste, which is a significant challenge for modern society.

The meeting was also attended by other key reuse practitioners in Slovenia, with whom we shared ideas and experiences. Together, we can make significant strides toward a more sustainable future!
