Andreas Scriba

I have been the managing director of the Association of German Biotechnology Companies (VBU) for more then 14 years. During that time I learned how to initiate cooperations between potential business partners on a national and international scale and how to help SMEs to find new technologies. I am very experienced in organising online and onsite events. In March 2015, I organised the first global online B2B matchmaking event for technology transfer in the life sciences. More then 400 technolgies have been presented at that online event. Furthermore, I was partner in quite a lot of European research projects and wrote many project proposals.

In 2016 I founded the ascrion GmbH, a SME that offers an intuitive B2B matchmaking technology which enables customers to set-up and administrate their own matchmaking events, even without having any IT expertise. The technology can also be used to create appealing event websites and customized participant profiles for non-partnering events. ascrion also offers a user-friendly technolgy to set-up and administrate highly interactive online communities. These dedicated, topic-specific online communities help to foster technology and knowledge transfer.

ascrion would like to join Interreg projects as project partner or sub-contractor. We could bring in all our technologies, our life sciences network and our knowledge on how to organise modern and interactive online/onsite events.
