About the organisation
Zamora County Council is the institution (Local Public Authority) in charge of the government of the province of Zamora, located in the northwest of the Castilla y León region (Spain).
We are strong defenders of international cooperation, perhaps due to the border nature of our region with Portugal. This focus has led us to participate successfully in many European Projects over the years.
One of our main current objectives is to develop the Silver Economy in rural areas.
